One of the highlights of the youth ministry program at Haslett Community Church is when students “graduate” from our youth ministry and become alumni of our program. We are incredibly thankful and blessed that so many of these students seek ways to maintain their relationship with HCC, no matter how far away they may land after graduation.
Alumni, you are always welcome back at HCC, whether that be for a Sunday morning worship service, or dropping in for a visit at youth group on Sunday evenings. We also encourage you to think about joining us on retreats and mission trips as halferones (18-20 year olds) or chaperones (21 years old and up).
We are thankful recipients of a higher education grant from our Covenant Association of the Michigan Conference of the UCC! This grant will help us plan and carry out new ministries with our alumni, including a spring retreat! As a church, we are always looking for new ways to maintain these relationships. If you have such an idea, please share it with Pastor Erin.
Every December, we have an alumni reunion.
