The Light Bearers Project started when…
…Amy Lerg heard Pastor Betsy say, “Go out from here and be light…” during a worship service. Amy, a member of HCC, remembers, “It wasn’t the first time she said it, but it was the first time the light bulb went on for me! So I started thinking about how I might do that.” An idea was born: creating a resource that people from the congregation access if they are wondering how to be light for the world. It was decided that the best way to get ideas is to tap the best resource - you! The people of HCC! You are invited, using the form below, to share ways you are Christ’s hands and feet in the world. The information you share will be added to our resource, so others who are curious about being involved in the same way, can reach out to you to learn more or to join you! The resource will be a living document, but we hope to have a good starting point by April 26, 2026, so if you can fill out a form by then, all the better. Thank you for being a Light Bearer!
